The World Owes You

I’m not really sure how someone concludes that lapses in Xbox Live warrant a lawsuit. I’m even more confused as to how those lapses equate to millions of dollars in damages, as the plaintiffs are claiming. I can only imagine that the process roughly mirrors what you see above.
I meant to post some news for the last comic but was prevented from doing so over the weekend because I live in California and was bombarded by storms that knocked out the electricity for two days. I wonder if anyone will sue our energy provider over that.
I actually didn’t play too many games over the holidays. However, I did play through Shadow of the Colossus, a game that I had been meaning to try for years. It lived up to the hype and it’s actually so good that if a sequel were announced for the PS3 I would be less apathetic about not owning the system.
It’s a little boring around here so I thought I’d try something to liven things up. I’ll call it the Digital Unrest Create-A-Character. All you have to do is email me and give me a single adjective. It can be anything you want, such as “squid-like” or something, just nothing blatantly offensive. Each day I’ll collect the adjectives I receive and use them to create one aspect of a character. For instance, I could take all the adjectives from tomorrow and use them as a template for drawing the character’s right arm. When all the parts of the character are completed it will join the cast of Digital Unrest. I know this could fail miserably, but it could also turn out to be somewhat entertaining. I’ll post the adjectives and the body part they’ll be describing at the end of each day if people decide to participate.

Readers have responded and the first day's adjectives are in. These adjectives went towards creating the character's torso. It is clear to me now that we are building a horrifying monstrosity. The first adjective sent to me was simply "red", but, as you will see,
those that followed were not nearly as ordinary. The adjectives I had to work with were:
-Red
-Red Head
-Greasy
-Clefty
-Veiny
-Struthius (it means ostrich-like, this actually became my preferred word of the day)
-Peanut Buttery
-Squishy
-MegaMan-ish
I did my best and this is the torso that emerged from the bubbling cauldron:
Feel like contributing an adjective to the next body part? Just email me with one. It's that simple.

The next batch of adjectives are in and they'll be going towards the character's left arm. I've got to say, this new set makes yesterday's look like a piece of cake. People are now giving adjectives that embody the abstract and intangible. Not only have I never even heard of one of these
words, but I'm pretty sure no human since the time of the bubonic plague has used it in common speech. I'll list the words but it's going to take me a little longer to actually draw an arm that somehow captures all these.
-Marshmallow-esque
-Contradictory
-Lagucræftig (means "nautical")
-Ironic
-Noodly
-Spikey
-Necrotic
-Pikmin-fingers (actually a noun, but I'll let it slide)
-Holey
If you submitted one but don't see it here then that means it's going towards the next body part. Thanks to all those taking part.
