Today we have a fun strip from Algeya over at Pilli Adventure. It's been my good fortune to have Algeya contribute guest strips twice now. I hope I'll be lucky enough for the trend to continue next year.

We're rounding out the first week of guest strips. There are a couple more set to be posted next week. Kinda weird to think I've been posting scribbles on the site for that long. I really only had one goal for year 2 of the comic -- namely, have the strip be less crappy than it was in year 1. I hope in that respect I can claim some triumph. From time to time I take off my rose-colored glasses, and in those brief moments I catch a terrifying glimpse of the glaring flaws that plague the comic. I make comics mainly because it's fun to do so. But that's not the only reason, obviously, or else I wouldn't be posting them on the internet. The fact that they are available for public viewing suggests that there is some aspiration to entertain those other than just myself. Accordingly, I feel a responsibility to try to improve the material I'm putting out there. So for year 3 I want to improve my ability to draw anatomy from more inspired perspectives than those I'm currently using. I also want to distance myself a bit from the cliche rut my characters are stuck in. Wish me luck.
