Fall of Duty

EDIT: Surprise, I'm lazy. Comic will be up tomorrow.
By all accounts, I am bad at Call of Duty 4. It's so, so easy to die in multiplayer. However, at least the so-called "kill cam" helps to calm the maddening frustration that
comes with not knowing who or where your agent of death was. For those who don't know, the kill cam shows you a snippet of action through the eyes of your killer, essentially showing you what your
opponent saw as he was destroying you. It is helpful, as it discloses the locations of campers, but alternately it can be depressing to see that someone blindly tossed a grenade as far as they could across the level and ended up killing
you. Something I also tried to allude to in the strip is the insane amount of bloom lighting present in certain areas of the game. I guess they were trying to simulate the differing perceptions in light intensity one has
when going from indoors to outdoors but damn, I shouldn't feel like I'm looking through milk-filled goggles when I step out the front door. I whine but the game, even in its beta form, is incredibly fun. And this is coming from someone who has
generally scorned multiplayer FPSs.
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is coming out in a mere two weeks. Where's the hype? It may be a DS game but it is still a full-fledged Zelda adventure. I'm really hoping this game rises above the level of respectable noteriety maintained by the previous
portables Zeldas (which were all great, Link's Awakening FTW).
