Well, we're really nerdin' it up this week. How esoteric can a comic be before people just stop reading it? Maybe I'll find out. Anyways, physics-ologists (or fizzizists, as they prefer to be called) have cooked up a little something called Superstring theory that has the potential to describe the nature of everything in the universe, literally. If that piqued your interest, I'd recommend reading the book The Elegant Universe by Professor Brian Greene (you might also catch the special on PBS by the same name). It's an excellent, entertaining introduction to Superstring theory that anybody can read and understand.
