The above strip is in reference to Assassin's Creed and its main character, Altair, who is sans a phalange to accomodate a nifty blade-thing on his wrist. Assassin's Creed is one of those games that pulls me towards the 360. The last game that did that was Dead Rising. However, free time issues aside, I just don't think I have a setup that will give me the best a 360 has to offer. I'm hesistant to buy one as a result. I don't have an HD television, so I'd have to play it via VGA connection to my 17" 4:3 monitor. I think it will make for a markedly subpar experience (if anyone out there uses a similar setup and finds it satisfactory, please let me know).

Here's a funny thing. What game has got my attention as a DS title I look forward to picking up? -- Picross DS. I just recently discovered Picross, the spiritual companion to Sudoku. There's not much to say, except that those little logic puzzles are fun.
