Trauma Center - it's fun on the DS and even moreso on Wii. If you want a game to keep Twilight Princess company in your Wii collection, Trauma Center: Second Opinion is certainly a great candidate. I think we need to support these types of novel premises for game. I'm very happy that unconventional, light-hearted backdrops for games, like courtroom drama in Phoenix Wright and surgery simulation here, seem to be garnering a cult following. The thing with Trauma Center: SO is that it's a novel game for a novel console, where both the game and console enhance each other. The game would have been horrid if Wii's pointer function were not smooth, fast and accurate, but the ease of the basic Trauma Center controls are testiment to the fact that the pointer function is spot-on. In turn, the game exemplifies the type of unique games and experiences you'll only get on Wii.
