The summer draught of games begins to draw to a close as Star Fox Command releases this week. For some reason I've always enjoyed the SF franchise, even though the premise is really bizarre and sounds terrible on paper. Anthropomorphic animals in futuristic space combat - it takes guts to pitch something like that at a board meeting.

I'm glad to see that Peppy Hare hasn't been promoted/aged beyond flying duty in SF Command. See, Star Fox 64 was a game that I was unusually good at, and I employed Peppy to deliver what I called "pink death", wherein I used the geriatric rabbit to down multiplayer foes with his pretty pink lasers. I always felt that this was a humiliating way to go out. I really hope Peppy once again has his pink cannons in SF command so that pink death may live on.
