Pikmin is probably my favorite franchise to come out of the last generation of consoles. There's something strangely empowering about seeing all those wide-eyed creatures follow you around with unwavering faith - even if it means their ultimate doom. If you haven't tried out the multiplayer in Pikmin 2 you're missing out on a lot of fun. It's one of the few recent games to have a decent co-op mode. And the 2-player versus is the perfect blend of action and real-time strategy. It's something that needs to be expanded on and taken online with the Wii.
