Here are a few things from the webcomic world I felt like putting out there.
First, I added a new link to the links section. The comic is Her! [Girl vs Pig]
by Chris Bishop. As I read through the archives I kept thinking to myself "this is exactly the kind of comic I wish was published
in my campus newspaper." On the off chance that anybody else out there has seen them, I'll specifiy that I'm talking about
the comics printed in The California Aggie, the official campus newspaper of UC Davis. I'm pretty sure they're the worst comics
committed to paper. They actually make Family Circus seem incredibly edgy. But I digress, read Her! [Girl vs Pig].
Next, I wanted to direct you to a comic that has been a staple of links section since its inception. Cartridge Comics
is going to strike many a chord with anyone who grew up in the late 80's and 90's. If you loved something as a child, it's going
to become fodder for Cartridge Comics. Additionally, I love the line art. I once went to the super market and asked the grocer
for their freshest head of lettuce. When he handed it to me I asked him if this lettuce was as crisp as the artwork on Cartridge Comics.
He then began to sulk and looked at the ground ashamed. I threw the lettuce in his face and haven't been back since.
Lastly, I'd like to congratulate Dueling Analogs on their awesome showing in the
latest Joystiq Weekly Webcomic Wrapup.
Battling back the competition, they've earned a well deserved position at the top. Dueling Analogs is gaining momentum like
a runaway freight train.
